Leif began his creative journey in acting school, where he developed his first short film. Since then, he has embraced writing, earning recognition as a top 20 finalist for the German Young Screenwriters Award with his screenplay ‘Afterimages’. His short film ‘ZOE’ has garnered acclaim at festivals across Germany and beyond.
Leif started working on his idea for ‘Sunny Side Down’ in 2018 and, together with Florian, developed it into a screenplay. With the filming plans being put on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions, Leif decided to turn the story into a comic, gathered the team, and taught himself coloring.

Amy Clare (Amika) is a Vancouver-based comic book artist whose debut comic (Straylight) was published in Image’s Island magazine.
She graduated from Emily Carr University in 2015, but has been drawing pretty much since she could hold a pencil.
